(I) main parts, functions and safety requirements of the mold

They should meet the following requirements: (1) they should have sufficient strength and cannot be broken or destroyed during stamping; (2) Appropriate requirements should be made for its materials and heat treatment to prevent brittle cracks due to high hardness. They are supported by spring, rubber and air cushion push rod on the equipment, and can move up and down. The ejector shall be designed with sufficient jacking force, and the movement shall be limited. The closing area of the discharge plate shall be minimized or the empty hand groove shall be milled in the operating position. Protective plates shall be set around the exposed discharge plate to prevent fingers or foreign matters from entering, and the edges and corners of the exposed surface shall be blunt

4. Guide part guide post and guide sleeve are the most widely used guide parts. Its function is to ensure that the punch and die have accurate fit clearance during stamping. Therefore, the clearance of guide post and guide sleeve shall be less than the blanking clearance. The guide post is set in the lower mold base, and it shall be ensured that the upper end face of the guide post is at least 5-10mm above the top surface of the upper mold at the bottom dead center of the stroke. The guide post shall be arranged at the position far away from the module and the pressing plate, so that the operator's arm does not need to cross the guide post to feed and take materials

5. Supporting and clamping parts include upper and lower templates, die handles, male and female die fixing plates, base plates, limiters, etc. The upper and lower templates are the basic parts of the stamping die, and other parts are installed and fixed on them respectively. The plane size of the formwork, especially the front and rear directions, shall be compatible with the parts. Too large or too small is not conducive to operation

some molds (blanking and punching molds) need to set a base plate under the mold base for the convenience of outgoing parts. At this time, it is better to connect the base plate with the formwork with screws, and the thickness of the two base plates shall be absolutely equal. The spacing between the base plates shall be subject to the parts that can be delivered, and shall not be too large to avoid formwork fracture

6. Fastening parts, including screws, nuts, springs, pins, washers, etc., generally adopt standard parts. There are a large number of standard parts for stamping dies, so the design and selection shall ensure the needs of fastening and elastic ejection, so as to avoid the fasteners exposed to the surface operation position, and avoid hurting hands and hindering operation

the structure should try to ensure the convenience of feeding, ordering, discharging and waste cleaning. For the processing of small parts, it is strictly forbidden for the operator's fingers, wrists or other parts of the body to stretch into the mold area for operation; For the processing of large parts, if the operator has to work in the mold by hand, the range of entering the mold shall be reduced as far as possible, and the time for a part of the body to stay in the mold shall be shortened as far as possible. The range of the mold danger zone shall be defined, and necessary protective measures and devices shall be provided

various parts on the mold shall have sufficient strength and rigidity to prevent damage and deformation during use. Fastening parts shall have anti loosening measures to avoid accidental injury to the operator

Strong noise and vibration during stamping shall be avoided as far as possible. The mold design shall indicate the mold weight on the general drawing of different metastable phases to facilitate installation and ensure safety. Lifting and handling measures shall be taken for the processing of parts above 20kg to reduce labor intensity. The assembly and disassembly of mold parts shall be convenient and safe to avoid the possibility of clamping and cutting hands; The mould shall be easy to disassemble and store.
