Fuji Xerox invested in the industry's first integrated resource regeneration plant in China recently, Fuji Xerox Corporation of Japan officially announced the establishment of an integrated resource regeneration system in China. The office products and toner cartridges recovered from Chinese Mainland (excluding Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan) such as copiers and printers are disassembled and decomposed into 64 categories such as iron, aluminum, lens, glass and copper, which are transformed into raw materials through treatment and reused as new resources. Through this industry's first integrated resource regeneration system, Fuji Xerox strives to achieve the goal of zero landfill, zero pollution and no illegal disposal of garbage in China, and make contributions to China's environmental and resource protection. Fuji Xerox Asia Pacific integrated regeneration system, headquartered in Thailand, is responsible for the recycling of products in Hong Kong and Macao

it is understood that in order to build an integrated resource regeneration system, Fuji Xerox Co., Ltd. registered and established a wholly-owned subsidiary Fuji Xerox AGCO manufacturing (Suzhou) Co., Ltd. in China. The company has started construction of a new plant in Suzhou Industrial Park, Jiangsu Province, in May this year, and is expected to officially start operation in January 2008. The total investment of the factory is about 650million yen, and its annual decomposition and regeneration capacity will reach 15000 sets of equipment and 500000 selenium cartridges. Among them, the recycling rate of office equipment will reach 96%, and the recycling rate of selenium drum will reach 99.9%

according to Fuji Xerox, Fuji Xerox (China) Co., Ltd. is responsible for recycling used products and toner cartridges from its users, which was officially launched in June this year. At the same time, Fuji Xerox Co., Ltd. also cooperates with Mitsui products (Shanghai) Trading Co., Ltd., Shanghai San International Freight Co., Ltd. and China Post Logistics Co., Ltd. to cover the recycling scope throughout the country

after the completion of the Suzhou plant, Shanghai Fuji Xerox Co., Ltd. was responsible for mastering these methods, which can effectively protect and prolong the service life of the experimental machine itself. The production of selenium drums will be undertaken by Fuji Xerox AGCO manufacturing (Suzhou) Co., Ltd. In the Suzhou factory, the recycled toner cartridges will be completely broken down into parts. After strict quality inspection, those parts that meet the standards of new parts will be sent to the production line and enter the product assembly process. Non reusable parts will be treated as raw materials

learned that in order to fulfill the corporate society, Fuji Xerox formulated a product recycling policy in 1995, aiming at zero landfill. The company took the lead in establishing a resource regeneration system in Japan in August 2000, realizing zero landfill of products. In December, 2004, Fuji Xerox established an integrated resource regeneration system based in Thailand to recycle products used in 9 countries and regions in the Asia Pacific region. Its design met the output requirements of components and achieved zero landfill in the local area

Fuji Xerox's integrated resource regeneration system in China will become part of its 179 extruders imported in October of the international resource cycle. Through the recycling of used products and the reuse of used spare parts, Fuji Xerox strives to achieve zero landfill, zero pollution and no illegal disposal in China.
